The American cable TV channel HBO's animated series using the original recordings of The Ricky Gervais Show podcasts features the funnyman himself as well as his longtime collaborator Stephen Merchant.

The show’s set is a small studio with hanging mikes and the three cast members in animated form sitting around a table. As Pilkington babbles on in low monotone about each spontaneous bizarre topic, cartoons provide visual aids to the viewer.
